City Hosts Free Foreclosure Prevention Workshop

The City of Sunnyvale will present a free foreclosure prevention workshop Monday, January 30 at the Sunnyvale Public Library and is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. . New Phone Number for Tennis Center

Beginning January 1, tennis players will need to call a new telephone number for reservations and information at the City’s Sunnyvale Tennis Center. Staff will be available by phone and on-site seven days per week from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. to provide assistance. Please contact the center Pro Shop at (408) 735-7285 to schedule a court, book an event, or to receive information on tennis instruction.

KSUN-15 Off Air February 8-27 for Ugrades

The City's public access channel KSUN-15, which broadcasts Council and Commission meetings, will be off-air starting February 8 to get an equipment upgrade, allowing the system to be compliant with current broadcast standards. KSUN will begin broadcasting again on February 27. No meetings are planned during this down time so no broadcasts will be missed.

Cold Weather Shelter for Persons in Need Now Open Until March

From 6 p.m. until 6 a.m, the Sunnyvale National Guard Armory (620 East Maude Ave.), has 125 beds available on a first-come, first-serve basis for adult men and women in need. Shelters will stay open until March. To learn more, go to EHC Lifebuilders at ehclifebuilders.org
