SUBJECT: Appeal of the Planning Commission Agenda of October 25, 1999 and the Administrative Hearing Agenda of October 27, 1999

This report represents Planning Commission and Administrative Hearing agenda items that may be appealed by the City Council. An item may be appealed by any member of the Council.

Appeal of Planning Commission Agenda of October 25, 1999

1. 1999-0937 – Dolly Stowell Trustee (Citation Homes): Application for a Tentative Map to subdivide one lot into 34 single family lots, including the on-site preservation of a Heritage Resource House. The property is located at 901 Sunnyvale-Saratoga Road in an R-0 (Low Density Residential) Zoning District. (APN: 201-33-017) DSW (Mitigated Negative Declaration) (Approved)

2. 1999-0981 – HPTWN Corp. (Metrocom, Inc.): Application for a Special Development Permit to allow 16 facade mounted panel antennas to be co-located with an existing telecommunications facility. The property is located at 1300 Chesapeake Terrace in an M-S (Industrial and Service) Zoning District. (APN: 110-37-011) DP (Negative Declaration) (Approved)

Appeal of Administrative Hearing Agenda of October 27, 1999

1. 1999-0996 – Li Chang & M. Lee (Eric Keng): Application for a 5,995 square foot property located at 320 Waverly Street in an R-2 (Low-Medium Density Residential Zoning District. (APN: 165-12-056) LRL (Approved)

2. 1999-1019 - Application for a Variance of the Sunnyvale Municipal Code 19.34.030, to allow a front yard setback of 14 ft. where 20 ft. is required. The property is located at 1072 Hamshire Court in an R-0 (Low Density Residential) Zoning District. (APN: 313-23-080) DRP (Approved)

3. 1999-1022 - JL Garrison Trustee (Pai Kang Yang): Application for a Use Permit to allow a music school in an existing shopping center. The property is located at 888 Old San Francisco Road in a C-1 (Neighborhood Business) Zoning District. (APN: 211-05-031) DP (Approved)

RECOMMENDATION

The Council should review the agenda and appeal an application where appropriate.
