CERTIFICATION OF 1999 GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION RESULTS AND CANVASS OF RETURNS FROM COUNTY REGISTRAR OF VOTERS |
REPORT IN BRIEF
This report recommends that the City Council adopt the attached resolution certifying the results of the November 2, 1999 General Municipal Election.
DISCUSSION
The Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters completed the official canvass of returns for the City’s November 2, 1999 General Municipal Election and has certified the votes cast. The City Council is required to declare the results of the election by resolution.
