SUBJECT: Pre-Appeal of the Planning Commission Agenda of December 13, 1999 and Administrative Hearing Agenda of December 15, 1999
REPORT IN BRIEF
This report represents Planning Commission and Administrative Hearing items that may be pre-appealed by a majority vote of the Council. Council should indicate those items on which it wishes to have expanded notification.
A. Pre-Appeal of the Planning Commission Agenda of December 13, 1999
1. Application for a 9,397 square foot site located at 268 West California Avenue in an R-2 (Low-Medium Density Residential) Zoning District. (APN: 204-51-003)
1999-0876 - Appeal of a decision by the Director of Community Development denying a Variance to allow lot coverage of 45.9%, where a maximum of 40% is allowed; required rear yard coverage of 60% where a maximum of 25% is allowed; a one-foot rear yard setback where a minimum of 10 feet is required; an eight-foot side yard setback where a minimum of 12 feet is required and a 21-foot total side yard setback where a minimum of 26 feet is required.
B. Pre-Appeal of the Administrative Hearing Agenda of December 15, 1999.
1. 1999-1115 - Application for a Use Permit to allow an eight-foot
2. 1999-1137 - Application for a Variance from Sunnyvale Municipal
Code 19.34.030 to allow a five-foot side yard setback where a minimum of six feet is required. The property is located at 546 Dawn Drive in an R-0 (Low-Density Residential) Zoning District. (APN: 201-31-053) DPRECOMMENDATION
The Council should review the agenda and appeal an application where appropriate.
