That the City Council, by resolution, accept the project as complete and satisfactory.

The Contractor, J.J.R. Construction, has satisfactorily completed the Reconstruction of Curbs, Gutters, Sidewalks and Driveways project within the allocated budget and for the final contract amount of $694,793.03.

The work included reconstruction of 4" thick sidewalks, reconstruction of 5" and 6" thick driveways, replacement of curbs and gutters, removal of park strip concrete, and replacement of water meter boxes at various locations throughout the City.

The work was done as part of the annual program that provides removal and reconstruction of curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and driveway approaches that are in need of repair.

The project was inspected by the Public Works Corporation Yard staff and found to be satisfactory. Acceptance is, therefore, recommended.
