SUNNYVALE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY

JANUARY 11, 2000

The Redevelopment Agency of the City of Sunnyvale met upon adjournment of the regularly scheduled City Council meeting at 10:05 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 456 W. Olive Avenue, Sunnyvale, California, with Chair Pat Vorreiter presiding.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Agency Member Fowler moved, and Agency Member Miller seconded, to approve the minutes of December 14, 1999. The motion carried unanimously.

RESOLUTION 100-00 RA

RTA 00-001 RA

Redevelopment Implementation Plan for 2000-2004 and the Amended Housing Fund Deficit Reduction Plan

Housing and Neighborhood Preservation Officer Dyane Matas presented the staff report and responded to Council questions.

Chair Vorreiter opened and closed the public hearing at 10:10 p.m.

Agency Member Valerio moved, and Vice Chair Walker seconded, adoption of the resolution for the Five-Year Implementation Plan for the Redevelopment Project Area, for the period commencing January 1, 2000 through December 31, 2004.

Resolution No. 100-00 RA: A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SUNNYVALE APPROVING AN IMPLEMENTATION PLAN FOR THE CENTRAL CORE REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA FOR 2000-2004 AND APPROVING AN AMENDED HOUSING FUND DEFICIT REDUCTION PLAN

The motion carried unanimously.

Public Improvements Acquisition and Development Agreement Between American Mall Properties, City of Sunnyvale, and the Sunnyvale Redevelopment Agency Regarding the Development of Two Parking Structures at Town Center

Housing and Neighborhood Preservation Officer Dyane Matas presented the staff report.

Chair Vorreiter opened and closed the public hearing at 10:12 p.m.

Agency Member Miller moved, and Agency Member Risch seconded, adoption of the resolution authorizing the Executive Director to execute the Public Improvements and Acquisition Development Agreement with any necessary administrative changes.

Resolution No. 101-00 RA: A RESOLUTION OF THE SUNNYVALE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY APPROVING THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS ACQUISITION AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN AMERICAN MALL PROPERTIES, CITY OF SUNNYVALE AND THE SUNNYVALE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY IN CONNECTION WITH TOWN CENTER PARKING STRUCTURES

The motion carried unanimously.
