Dear Friends of Parks and Recreation:

This letter is being sent to those individuals who have communicated to the Department of Parks and Recreation an interest in being kept informed regarding the Department’s current Park Capacity and Use Study Issue.

Please note that the Parks and Recreation Commission is currently scheduled to consider this matter at its February 9, 2000, meeting (7:00 p.m., City Council Chambers). The Parks and Recreation Commission is an advisory body, and it will be determining its recommendation to City Council. City Council will consider this issue on March 28, 2000, (7:30 p.m., City Council Chambers). Both these meetings will be Public Hearings with opportunities presented for public testimony.
