SUBJECT: Appeal of the Planning Commission Agenda of March 27, 2000 and the Administrative Hearing Agenda of March 29, 2000
REPORT IN BRIEF
This report represents Planning Commission and Administrative Hearing items that may be pre-appealed by a majority vote of the Council. Council should indicate those items on which it wishes to have expanded notification.
A. Appeal of the Planning Commission Agenda of March 27, 2000
1. 2000-0077 - Irvine Company (Homegrocer.com, Inc.): Application for a Use Permit to allow alcoholic retail sales and display area in a small portion of an existing building associated with an internet-based grocery delivery service. The property is located at 985 Almanor Avenue in an M-S (Industrial & Service) Zoning District. (APN: 165-40-004) SZD (Continued to April 12, 2000)
2. 2000-0061 - B.I.G. Sunnypark, LLC (Swing Solutions):Application for a Special Development Permit to allow a 4,800 square-foot golf instructional facility within an existing industrial building. The property is located at 671 E. Arques Avenue in an M-S (Industrial & Service) Zoning District. (APN: 205-30-025). SD/EJ (Approved)
3. 2000-0073 - John Hammerschmidt: Application for a Use Permit to allow expansion of an existing 624 square-foot accessory utility building to 800 square feet. The property is located at 1095 Remsen Court in an R-1 (Low-Density Residential) Zoning District. (APN: 202-34-010) DSW (Approved)
RECOMMENDATION
The Council should review the agenda and appeal an application where appropriate.
