The Redevelopment Agency of the City of Sunnyvale met upon adjournment of the regularly scheduled City Council meeting at 8:19 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 456 West Olive Avenue, Sunnyvale, California, with Chair Walker presiding.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES (October 9, 2001)

Motion by Vice Mayor Fowler, seconded by Councilmember Vorreiter to approve the minutes as corrected. The motion carried unanimously.

Community Development Director Paternoster presented the staff report. He responded to questions relative to the number of parking spaces available.

Tom Dwyer questioned the number of parking spaces that will be available during construction. He also asked if penalties will be levied if the project is not completed before the permit expires.

Councilmember Vorreiter moved, and Councilmember Risch seconded, approval of a waiver to the REA to allow less than 450 parking spaces on the Macy's lot between November 1 and November 20, 2001 in substantial accordance with the construction and phasing schedule prepared by AMP. The motion carried unanimously.

Chair Walker adjourned the Redevelopment Agency Meeting to a Closed Session regarding Labor Negotiation with the Public Safety Officers Association (PSOA) Pursuant to Government Code 54957.6 at 8:24 p.m.
