Acceptance of Improvements — Water Pollution Control Plant Administration Building Improvements |

RECOMMENDATION |

That the City Council, by resolution, accept the project as complete and satisfactory. |

DISCUSSION |
|
|
The Contractor, Rushford Construction Co., Inc., has satisfactorily completed the Water Pollution Control Plant Administration Building Improvements (PR-98/16-99(A)) project for the final contract amount of $271,998. The work included replacement of the existing roofing system, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment, and replacement of a portion of the hot water loop. The work was done because the roofing system, HVAC system, and underground water loop had deteriorated with time. The project was inspected by the Public Works Project Administration Section and found to be satisfactory. Acceptance is, therefore, recommended. |
