SUBJECT:
Acceptance of Improvements — Fair Oaks Athletic Fields Lighting ProjectRECOMMENDATION
That the City Council, by resolution, accept the project as complete and satisfactory. DISCUSSION The Contractor, G.A.B. Construction, Inc., has satisfactorily completed the Fair Oaks Athletic Fields Lighting project (PR-98/04-99) within the allocated budget and for the final contract amount of $260,914. The work included installation of precast concrete foundations, steel light poles and fixtures, and a lighting control system that included a new pole-mounted transformer by PG&E. The work was done to add night field lighting for Fair Oaks Park in order to increase the availability of athletic fields to users. The project was inspected by the Public Works Project Administration Section and found to be satisfactory. Acceptance is, therefore, recommended. Prepared by: Hira Raina Reviewed by: Marvin A.
