SUBJECT: Appeal of the Planning Commission Agenda of August 12, 2002 and the Administrative Hearing Agenda of August 14, 2002

 

REPORT IN BRIEF

This report represents the Planning Commission Agenda and Administrative Hearing Agenda items that may be appealed by any member of the Council. Council should specify the reason for an appeal and indicate any appealed items on which it wishes to have expanded notification.

  1. 2002-0531 - Gumbinger Avram Architects [Applicant] St. Thomas Episcopal Church [Owner]: Application for a Use Permit to allow a new 2,304 square foot classroom building. The property is located at 231 South Sunset Avenue in a P-F (Public Facility) Zoning District. (APN: 165-10-035) EW (APPROVED WITH MODIFICATIONS)
  2. 2002-0509 - Application for a Variance from Sunnyvale Municipal Code Sections 19.34.030 and 19.48.050 to allow a 6.5-foot rear yard setback where 10 feet is required, and to exceed allowable rear yard coverage for a detached garage. RECOMMENDATION

The Council should review the agenda and appeal an application where appropriate, specifying the reason for the appeal.
