| SUBJECT: | Acceptance of Improvements — Wolfe/Evelyn Pump Station Water Main Replacement |
RECOMMENDATION
That the City Council, by resolution, accept the project as complete and satisfactory.
DISCUSSION
The Contractor, Avoca Trucking and Excavating, Inc., has satisfactorily completed the Wolfe/Evelyn Pump Station Water Main Replacement, UW-99/02-00 project for the final contract amount of $287,497.
The work included replacing the existing water mains and valves at the Wolfe/Evelyn Pump Station on Ajax Drive.
The work was done because the existing valves and piping had come to the end of their useful life.
The project was inspected by the Public Works Project Administration Section and found to be satisfactory. Acceptance is, therefore, recommended.
