WHEREAS, pursuant to the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the City of Sunnyvale and the Sunnyvale Employees Association (SEA), 1999-2004, and past practice, an amended pay schedule must be included in the City's Salary Resolution; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to past practice for implementing pay adjustments for unrepresented Confidential classifications, an amended pay schedule must be included in the City's Salary Resolution; and

WHEREAS, salary adjustments for Management employees of a universal six percent amount are being made;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SUNNYVALE THAT:

1. Section 2.100 of Resolution No. 145-02 is hereby amended by amending the pay range and steps for Category B classifications as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached and incorporated by reference.

2. Section 2.450 of Resolution No. 145-02 is hereby amended by amending the pay range and steps for Category G classifications as set forth in Exhibit "B" attached and incorporated by reference.

3. Section 2.300 of Resolution No. 145-02 is hereby amended by amending the pay range and steps for Category D/E classifications as set forth in Exhibit "C" attached and incorporated by reference.

4. Section 2.400 of Resolution No. 145-02 is hereby amended by amending the pay range and steps for Category F classifications as set forth in Exhibit "D" attached and incorporated by reference.

5. Section 2.800 of Resolution No. 145-02 is hereby amended by amending the pay range and steps for Category K classifications as set forth in Exhibit "E" attached and incorporated by reference.

6. Section 2.650 of Resolution No. 145-02 is hereby amended by amending the pay range and steps for Category M classifications as set forth in Exhibit "F" attached and incorporated by reference.

7. All other provisions of Resolution No. 145-02 shall remain in full force and effect.

8. The pay ranges noted above shall be effective retroactive to June 23, 2002.
