Acceptance of Improvements — Homestead Road at Belleville Way/Barranca Drive Traffic Signal |

RECOMMENDATION |

That the City Council, by resolution, accept the project as complete and satisfactory. |

DISCUSSION |
|
|
The Contractor, Tennyson Electric Inc., has satisfactorily completed the Homestead Road at Belleville Way/Barranca Drive Traffic Signal (TR-98/05B-99) project within the allocated budget and for the final contract amount of $249,366.00. The work included construction of handicap ramps and a traffic signal at the intersection of Homestead Road and Belleville Way/Barranca Drive. The work was done as a result of a traffic signal warrant study requested by City residents and the nearby elementary school. The project was inspected by the Public Works Project Administration Section and found to be satisfactory. Acceptance is, therefore, recommended. |
