SUBJECT:

Acceptance of Improvements — Backup Power for Sewage Lift Stations

RECOMMENDATION

That the City Council, by resolution, accept the project as complete and satisfactory.

DISCUSSION

The Contractor, HR Electric and Engineering, has satisfactorily completed the Backup Power for Sewage Lift Stations (UY-99/01-00) project within the allocated budget and for the final contract amount of $106,200.00.

The work included furnishing and installing a back-up power generation system for the Lawrence and Arques Sewage Lift Stations, including site work and a portable generator and trailer.

The work was done to provide emergency back-up power for the sewer lift stations.

The project was inspected by the Public Works Project Administration Section and found to be satisfactory. Acceptance is, therefore, recommended.
