SUBJECT: June 10, 2003 Study Session

A Study Session has been scheduled for 6:30p.m. on June 10 to provide the City Council an overview of the regulation of massage related businesses and enforcement of the city’s codes. The presentation will be made by Community Development Department Planning and Neighborhood Preservation, Department of Public Safety and Office of City Attorney representatives.

The primary topics relative to illegal massage activities are:

• Prevention
• Intervention
• Abatement and Prosecution

After the staff presentation the City Council will have time to ask questions on the regulations and procedures.
