Information:
The Heritage Preservation Commission promotes the restoration, maintenance and operation of heritage resources throughout the City. It reviews and recommends action on all permit applications regarding changes in landmark sites or districts. The Commission is also charged with the development and promotion of museums and City archives.
The seven-member advisory commission meets on the 1st Wednesday of every other month at 7 p.m. in the West Conference Room of City Hall. Applicants should have knowledge of or demonstrated interest in Sunnyvale heritage. Strong consideration will be given to applicants with a background or experience in areas such as: architecture, design history, anthropology, museums and urban preservation.
General Meeting Schedule:
West Conference Room, 7 p.m. - Regularly scheduled meetings on the 1st Wednesday of every other month starting January and on 1st Wednesday of alternate months when needed. Please contact liason for an updated meeting schedule.
