PUBLIC HEARINGS/GENERAL BUSINESS
2. Draft RTC – Consideration of Community Gardens and Possible Locations
Ms. Merrill said this item would be withdrawn from the agenda and postponed to the March 9, 2005, Commission meeting. She noted that the Sustainable Gardening Group has been kept informed on the process and this decision.

Commissioner Chuck said it was Chinese New Year and the Year of the Rooster.
Commissioner Locke noted he liked the “ look and feel” of the new Activity Guide. He asked if photos in flyers are current or recycled from past years; he suggested using updated photos, especially as the children get older.
· STAFF ORAL COMMENTS
Director Walker said goodbye as Director of Parks and Recreation and spoke of his new appointment to Assistant City Manager. Vice Chair Pole congratulated Director Walker and noted that it was a good move on the City’s part.
