Information:
The Parks and Recreation Commission shall have power to:

(a) Act in an advisory capacity to the City Council in all matters pertaining to parks, recreation, playgrounds and entertainment; and
(b) Review the annual budget of the Parks and Recreation Department prepared by the City Manager, and make recommendations concerning the budget to the City Council.

The five-member advisory commission meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall or at various park centers or at the Community Center as announced. Applicants should be familiar with the City's park facilities and recreational programs.

Meeting Schedule:
Council Chambers (may move) - second Wednesday of each month, 7 p.m.
