PERSONNEL BOARD

The Personnel Board met in regular session in Council Chambers, 456 W. Olive Avenue.  The meeting was called to order at 5:00 P.M. with Werner Gans presiding.

CONSENT CALENDAR

1.      Stephanie Saprai moved the minutes of the September 22, 2005 and January 9, 2006 meeting be approved as submitted.  Seconded by Werner Gans with Judith Nickey abstaining.

CITIZENS TO BE HEARD

None

GENERAL BUSINESS

a)       Election of Chair and Vice Chair:

Nickey moved Gans be elected as Personnel Board Chair.  Seconded by Saprai and unanimously carried.  Nickey moved Saprai be elected as Personnel Board Vice Chair.  Seconded by Gans and unanimously carried.        

b)       Consideration of Employee Suggestions:

Gans moved $200 award for suggestion #06-24, RSI Prevention or Management.  Seconded by Saprai and unanimously approved.  Suggestor: Jill Jackson, Department of Public Safety.

Gans requested additional information from evaluator for suggestion #06-25, Improvement to Time Card Template.  Suggestor: Daniel Burney, Department of Parks & Recreation.
