MINUTES

PERSONNEL BOARD 

The Personnel Board met in special session in the Human Resources Training Room, 505 W. Olive Avenue Suite 202.  The meeting was called to order at 5:05 P.M. with Werner Gans presiding.

ROLL CALL

Present:        Werner Gans, Judith Nickey, Stephanie Saprai

Staff:           Erwin Young, Director of Human Resources

CONSENT CALENDAR

1.       a)       Saprai  moved the Minutes of the August 21, 2006 meeting be approved as submitted.  Seconded by Nickey and unanimously carried.

GENERAL BUSINESS

2.       NEW BUSINESS

a)       Assistant City Manager Robert Walker presented draft RTC: Consideration of  Revisions to Council Policy Governing Boards and Commissions. 

Saprai moved the Personnel Board recommend no change to the current policy.  Seconded by Gans and unanimously carried.

b)       Consideration of Employee Suggestions:

Saprai moved a $200 award for suggestion #06-27, Demarcation of Emergency Evacuation Meeting Area.  Seconded by Gans and unanimously carried.   Suggestor: Dustin Clark, Department of Public Works.

Saprai moved no award for suggestion #06-28, Benches at Raynor Park Play Area.  Seconded by Nickey and unanimously carried.   Suggestor: Derrick Kanazawa, Department of Parks and Recreation.

Saprai moved a $50 award for suggestion #06-25, Improvement to Time Card Template.  Seconded by Nickey and unanimously carried.   Suggestor: Daniel Burney, Department of Parks and Recreation.
