PERSONNEL BOARD MEETING

Call to Order

Chairman Gans called the meeting to order at 5:34 p.m.

Approval of Minutes

Bushman noted that the October minutes did not reflect the fact that Frank Agabah was not present at the meeting. The minutes need to be corrected to read that Frank Agabah was absent from the October meeting.  Bushman moved the minutes be approved as corrected, seconded by Ketzel and unanimously carried.

Other

Marc Hynes, Attorney to the Personnel Board, reviewed the Statement of Decision regarding the appeal of a Parks and Recreation employee.  Ketzel stated that two changes should be made to the Statement.  The Appeal Decision was unanimously adopted with the two changes.

Myriam Castaneda, Human Resources Supervisor, updated the Board on the progress of the Suggestion Committee.  She will have a draft of a new Employee Suggestion Program available for the Board’s review at the December 15, 2003 meeting.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 5:53 p.m.

The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Personnel Board will be held on Monday, December 15, 2003 at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
