The Personnel Board met in regular session in Council Chambers, 456 W. Olive Avenue.  The meeting was called to order at 5:05 P.M. with Werner Gans presiding.

CONSENT CALENDAR

1.      Saprai moved the Minutes of the October 4, 2006 meeting be approved as submitted.  Seconded by Nickey and unanimously carried.

GENERAL BUSINESS

2.   Consideration of Employee Suggestions:

Gans moved a $100 award for suggestion #06-30, Available City Programs for Residents. Seconded by Saprai and unanimously approved.

Suggestor: Ingrid Grassini, Office of the City Manager/Communications.

Nickey moved a $100 award for suggestion #06-32, Light Emitting Diode (LED) Luminaries.  Seconded by Saprai and unanimously approved.

Suggestor: Dennis Ng, Department of Public Works/Transportation & Traffic.

NON-AGENDA  ITEMS

Due to the City-wide observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday on January 15^th and the President’s Day holiday on February 19^th, the Personnel Board agreed to meet on February 12, 2006 as their next meeting.
