Information:
The Planning Commission reviews and makes recommendations to the City Council on land use and development of the City. The Commission reviews the development and implementation of the City's General Plan and its various elements. In addition, it makes recommendations to the Council regarding zoning, permits, ordinances and other procedure.

The seven-member advisory commission meets on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 8 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall. Study sessions are held the 2nd and 4h Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in the West Conference Room of City Hall. Applicants should have familiarity with or demonstrated interest in the physical community layout, land use and urban planning issues and the long-term appearance of the community.
