The Department of Community Development Administrative Hearing is conducted by the Administrative Hearing Officer, who is a member of the City Staff, acting on behalf of the Director of Community Development. The Administrative Hearing Officer considers Minor Projects for Special Development Permits, Use Permits, Variances and Parcel Maps that are determined Categorically Exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
