SUBJECT: Acceptance of Improvements — Conway Road Improvements Project

RECOMMENDATION

That the City Council, by resolution, accept the project as complete and satisfactory.

DISCUSSION

The Contractor, Top Grade Construction, has satisfactorily completed the Conway Rd. Improvements (ST-98/03-99) project, within the allocated budget and for the final contract amount of $306,240.

The site improvements work included sanitary sewer/storm drain upgrades, gutter installation, street improvements (grading and pavement), and the addition of street lighting.

The work was done to facilitate public utility and private roadway improvements to Conway Road, which serves eleven single-family residences.

The project was inspected by the Public Works Project Administration Section and found to be satisfactory.  Acceptance is, therefore, recommended.
