·       Special Development Permit to allow 18 three-story townhomes on an existing vacant lot, and

·       Tentative Map to a subdivide one lot into 18 lots and one common lot.

 

2.     2003-0825 - Rita and Stanley Lee [Applicant/Owner] - Application for A Special Development Permit on a 27, 460 square foot site to allow retail use to an existing building.  The property is located at 1698 South Wolfe Road in a C-1/PD (Neighborhood Business/Planned Development) Zoning District. (APN: 313-38-037) (Negative Declaration) JM

 

3.     2003-0850 - Indian Community Center [Applicant] Richard T. Peery Trustee [Owner] - Application for a Use Permit on a 1.34 acre site to allow the use of a neighborhood Indian Community Center for three years within a portion of an existing industrial building.  The property is located at 285 North Wolfe Road in an M-S (Industrial & Service) Zoning District.  (APN: 205-32-008) (Negative Declaration) EW

Jacobson [Applicant/Owner] - Application for related proposals on a 3.71-acre site.  The properties are located at 0, 707 and 711 South Mathilda Avenue in a C-2/PD (Highway Business/Planned Development) Zoning District.  (APNs: 201-22-009, 201-22-010, 201-22-012 and 201-35-005) (Negative Declaration) EW (Also to City Council on 12/16/03)

 

·       General Plan Amendment for a portion of the site from Commercial General Business to Residential;

·       Amendment of a portion of Opportunity Area Three of the Precise Plan for El Camino Real to a residential and commercial, and

·       Rezone from C-2/PD (Highway Business/Planned Development) to C-2/ECR (Highway Business/El Camino Real Precise Plan)

 

APPEAL OPTIONS: Not pre-appealable, item to be considered by City Council.

 

2.     2003-0764 - Michael Rebholtz [Applicant] Tom Lighthouse [Owner] - Application for a Design Review on a 6,344 square foot site to allow a room addition to an existing residence resulting in a 47% Floor Area Ratio.  The property is located at 1147 Doon Court in an R-0 (Low-Density Residential) Zoning District.  (APN: 313-15-044) SL

 

APPEAL OPTIONS: May be pre-appealed by City Council.

 

 

3.      2003-0771 – Bindu Mandahava [Applicant] Lawrence Commercial Center [Owner] Application for related proposals on a 3.77-acre site located at 520 Lawrence Expressway in an M-S (Industrial & Service) Zoning District.  (216-44-119) KD

·  Use Permit to allow a dance studio in an existing tenant space, and;

·  Variance from SMC (Sunnyvale Municipal Code) Section 19.46.020 to allow a reduction in the total number of parking spaces required to serve the use.

 

APPEAL OPTIONS: May be pre-appealed by City Council.

 

4.      2003-0536 - Classic Communities [Applicant] Koreski Family Trust [Owner] - Application for related proposes on a 2.87 acre site located at 637 East Arques Avenue in an MS/ITR/R-3 (Industrial and Service/Industrial to Residential/Medium Density Residential) Zoning District.  (APN: 205-30-005 and 230-30-008) (Negative Declaration) SL (Continued indefinitely from the Planning Commission of October 27, 2003)

·  Special Development Permit to allow construction of 54 townhomes, and

·  Tentative Map to subdivide two lots into 54 lots and one common lot.

 

APPEAL OPTIONS: May be pre-appealed by City Council.

 

5.     2003-0856 - City of Sunnyvale - Consideration of modifications to Chapter 19.98 of the Sunnyvale Municipal Code related to signature requirements on land use applications. (Also to City Council on 12/16/03)

 

APPEAL OPTIONS: Not appealable, item to be considered by City Council.
