A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SUNNYVALE ADOPTING RULES FOR BUSINESS TENANT PREFERENCE AND OWNER PARTICIPATION AND AUTHORIZING TRANSMITTAL OF SAME TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SUNNYVALE

          WHEREAS, pursuant to California Community Redevelopment Law, rules for owner participation and business tenant preferences must be provided for each redevelopment project area; and

          WHEREAS, the staff of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Sunnyvale has prepared Rules for Business Tenant Preference and Owner Participation for the Central Core Redevelopment Project Area, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit "A" and incorporated by reference.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SUNNYVALE THAT:

          1.       The Agency hereby adopts the Rules Governing Participation by Property Owners and the Extension of Reasonable Preferences to Business Occupants attached as Exhibit "A" and orders the Rules be available for public inspection.

          2.       The Rules shall be transmitted by the Executive Director of the Agency to the City Council of the City of Sunnyvale for its review.
