The Downtown Specific Plan and associated Zoning Code Amendments are the last step in the process to update the land uses and development standards in the downtown area.  On September 22, 2003, the Planning Commission continued these items to a Special Planning Commission Hearing of October 6, 2003, due to an error in noticing. In order to incorporate the Planning Commission action in the Council report and staff recommendation, staff is recommending to continue this study issue from October 7, 2003 to October 14, 2003.
