SUBJECT: CITY MANAGER CONTROL POINT

REPORT IN BRIEF

Attached is the resolution prepared by the City Attorney’s Office implementing the new Control Point for the City Manager for Fiscal Year 2003/04.  Following the procedures adopted by Council on October 17, 1995, detailed in Report to Council #95-380, the new control point should be set at $199,749.  However, given the fact that control point increases for other managers have been limited to 3% because of our budget, the City Manager feels that it is appropriate to limit the increase in control point to the same percentage as other management employees.

The new Control Point for the City Manager is set at $188,955, and is effective retroactive to June 22, 2003.
