SUBJECT:              2004-0534 – John Tze [Applicant] Fal Investments, Llc [Owner]: Application for related proposals on a 4.9 acre site located at 776 East El Camino Real in a C-2 (Highway Business) Zoning District. (Negative Declaration) (APN: 211-25-001) RK (Applicant asks for an indefinite continuance)

·         Rezone from C-2 (Highway Business) Zoning District to C-2/ECR (Highway Business/El Camino Real Precise Plan) Zoning District;

·         Special Development Permit to construct a new 61,000 square-foot shopping center, and

·         Parcel Map to subdivide one lot into four lots.

Staff is recommending this item be continued indefinitely and new public hearing dates will be re-advertised.

DISCUSSION

On August 9, 2004, the Planning Commission continued this item to August 23, 2004 at the request of the applicant to allow more time for presentation.  After the item was continued, the applicant informed staff of further redesign they are contemplating which will not be ready for the August 23, 2004 Planning Commission meeting.  Staff is recommending that this item be continued indefinitely.

None with this action.

Continue this item indefinitely.
