This potion of the Agenda provides an opportunity for members of the public to directly address the Governing Board [of the School District*] on any item of interest to the public; however, provisions of the Brown Act [Government Code 54954.2(a) and .3] preclude any action being taken on any item not appearing on the posted agenda. Time limits allocated to public testimony are three (3) minutes per person and twenty (20) minutes per topic. Speakers are asked to give their name, address and affiliation so that an accurate record is reflected in the minutes. Strategy 7
