A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SUNNYVALE AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 131-04, THE CITY'S SALARY RESOLUTION, BY AMENDING THE PAY SCHEDULE FOR PAY PLAN CATEGORY D/E (MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES) AND CATEGORY F (DEPARTMENT DIRECTOR)

          WHEREAS, to implement the changes to the City of Sunnyvale Classification Plan adopted by Resolution No. ________, the City Council desires to make the following changes to Attachment A of the City’s Salary Resolution, the Pay Plan, by amending Pay Plan Category D/E Management Employees and Category F Department Directors;

          NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SUNNYVALE THAT:

          1.     Section 2.300 of Resolution No. 131-04 is hereby amended by changing the title in Job Code 0235 from Public Safety Captain I to Public Safety Captain, and changing the title in Job Code 0340 from Public Safety Captain II to Deputy Chief of Public Safety, as set forth in Exhibit “A” attached and incorporated by reference.

          2.     Section 2.400 of Resolution No. 131-04 is hereby amended by deleting job code 0208, Assistant Director of Public Safety, in its entirety, as set forth in Exhibit "B" attached and incorporated by reference.

          3.     All other provisions of Resolution No. 131-04 shall remain in full force and effect.
