SUBJECT: 2004-0300 - Related proposals on a 8,320 square-foot site located at 529 South Murphy Avenue in an R-2 (Low Medium Density Residential) Zoning District. (Negative Declaration) (APN: 209-39-004) (Staff recommends a continuance to July 13, 2004)
· Rezone from R-2/O (Low Medium Density Residential/Office) to R-2/O/PD (Low Medium Density/Office/Planned Development) Zoning District;
· Special Development Permit to allow the remodel of an existing 2,185 square-foot two-story house and the construction of a new 2,014 square-foot two-story house, and
· Tentative Map to subdivide one lot into two lots.
DISCUSSION
On May 24, 2004, the Planning Commission considered this item and expressed concerns about the site and parking plan. They continued the public hearing to June 28, 2004 to allow the applicant time to redesign the project. The Planning Commission continuance results in a need to continue the City Council hearing to July 13, 2004.
