SPECIAL SUNNYVALE CITY COUNCIL MEETING
MARCH 16, 2004

 

The City Council of the City of Sunnyvale met in a special session in the City Council Chambers, 456 West Olive Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA at 9:50 p.m. immediately following the adjournment of its regular session, with Mayor Howe presiding.

CONTINUATION OF THE CONSIDERATION OF THE PROCESS TO BE USED FOR THE CITY COUNCIL REVIEW AND PRIORITIZATION OF CITY SERVICES FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE PROGRAM SERVICES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION AND FOR ALL OF THE PROGRAM SERVICES OF THE OFFICE OF THE CITY MANAGER.

 

Robert Walker, Director of Parks and Recreation, presented a brief report on the following program/services for the Department of Parks and Recreation and responded to questions of the Council:

 

Program: Customer Service Registrations, Reservations, Publicity and Recreation Facility Operations #26 – 29

 

Mayor Howe opened the public hearing at 9:56. There being no public comments received, closed the public hearing.

Councilmember Swegles, seconded by Councilmember Hamilton moved to accept staff’s recommendation with the exception that they will all be scalable as follows:

 

Vice Mayor Chu made a friendly amendment to change #26 to expected traditional.  The amendment was not accepted.
