SUBJECT: 2004 BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS WORK PLAN

REPORT IN BRIEF

As required by the Legislative Management Sub-Element of the General Plan, the City’s Boards and Commissions have developed their Work Plans to reflect Council’s priorities as adopted in the 2004 Council Agenda Calendar. The Boards and Commission have developed the attached Master Work Plans which highlight regularly scheduled Boards and Commissions meetings,  review of the Code of Ethics, specific issues identified in the Council Agenda Calendars, and any routine assignments specific to a particular Board or Commission. Note that the Board of Building Code Appeals only meets on an as-needed basis, and as such does not adopt an annual Work Plan.

EXISTING POLICY

General Plan – Legislative Sub-Element. Action statement

7.3A2d Adopt an annual work plan for Boards and Commissions consistent with Council priorities.

FISCAL IMPACT

There is no fiscal impact as a result of approving the Master Work Plan.
