For non-emergency, planned events
Event Category  Event Fee/day  Description  Examples
Type 1 $100 Simple, one day events. Minimum materials delivered, but no staff involved in set up of traffic controls. No overtime for staff involved Block Parties, Little League sign ups/opening day, events on private property (removing permanent no-parking signs while an on site parking lot is being resurfaced), miniature car races in Baylands parking lots 
Type 2 $250 Staff closing less than 2  minor residential, low traffic volume streets. Minimum, if any, staff OT necessary.  Multi-cultural fair, small parades, large business affairs (the opening of AMD campus or closing Lakeway for Residential Inn events), organized athletic events (5K or 10K runs)
Type 3 $500 Staff closing less than 2  minor residential, low traffic volume streets. Some staff OT necessary. Minor sign work involved.  Small parades
Type 4 $500-$5000 Usually lasts multiple days, requires staff to close major arterial or collector streets, staff OT necessary, Sign work and equipment needed. Would be handled by an agreement Thai Festival, large parades, Downtown Summer Music Series, Art & Wine Festival
