Good morning,

The Santa Clara County City Selection Committee is pleased to announce the
appointment of Mayor John Howe, City of Sunnyvale, to the Santa Clara County
Local Agency Formation Commission. At a meeting of the CSC yesterday, April
8, 2004, Mayor Howe was appointed to the position currently held by
Councilmember Mary Lou Zoglin, City of Mountain View.

The Selection Committee also selected as Alternate for LAFCO Mayor Pro Tem
Roland Velasco, City of Gilroy.
