The City Council met in study session at City Hall in the West Conference Room, 456 West Olive Avenue, Sunnyvale, California on November 9, 2004 at 6:30 p.m., with Vice Mayor Dean Chu presiding. 

Council Members Present: Mayor John Howe, Vice Mayor Dean Chu, Council Member Fred Fowler, Council Member Otto Lee, Council Member Julia Miller, Council Member Ron Swegles

Council Members Absent: Council Member Melinda Hamilton

City Staff Present: Amy Chan, City Manager, Chuck Schwabe, Deputy City Manager, Joan Borger, Interim City Attorney, Coryn Campbell, Neighborhood and Community Resources Manager, Peter Bassett, Management Analyst

Staff distributed a listing of current bills and issues on which the City has taken a position. 

National League of Cities (NLC) Conference Itinerary
Staff distributed the National League of Cities annual conference itinerary to the Councilmembers attending the conference.   

National League of Cities (NLC) Resolutions
Councilmembers discussed review of the NLC Resolutions. 

IGR Committee Assignment Reports
Councilmembers discussed highlights from their IGR committee assignments.
