BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS INTERVIEWS

The Council interviewed the following applicants for consideration of appointments to fill vacancies on various Boards and Commissions:
· Charlie Fenton (Arts Commission)
· Judi Nickey (Personnel Board)
· Sherri Tafel (Heritage Preservation Commission)
· Damon Kali (Housing and Human Services)
· Micki Falk (Housing and Human Services)
· Jeanine Stanek (Heritage Preservation Commission)
· Dixie Carney ( Arts Commission)
· Ann Andersen (Housing and Human Services Commission and Personnel Board) |
DISCUSSION
After the interviews were completed, Council clarified their procedures for the January 10th Council meeting.
· Council will consider vacancies on Boards/Commissions in alphabetical order (i.e. Arts Commission, Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee, etc.).
· Applicants for Board/Commission vacancies will be considered in alphabetical order based on last name.
· When there are terms of varying length for a Board/Commission, appointments for the longest terms will be considered first.
