REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY

The Redevelopment Agency of the City of Sunnyvale met in the City Council Chambers, 456 West Olive Avenue, Sunnyvale, California at 12:39 a.m., with Agency Chair Chu presiding.

Pursuant to policy, the Agency took a vote to continue the meeting tonight to hear agenda item number 3. The vote passed 6-1, Agency member Miller dissented.

 

Vice Chair Swegles moved, Agency member Howe seconded to continue Redevelopment Agency items 1A and 2 to March 8, 2004. Motion passed unanimously.

Five-Year Implementation Plan for Central Core Redevelopment Project Area

RDA 05-002

A Resolution of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Sunnyvale Amending the Disposition and Development and Owner Participation Agreement Between the Agency and Fourth Quarter Properties XLVIII in Connection with Redevelopment of Town Center Mall 

 

Robert Paternoster, Agency Secretary, presented the report.

 

Chair Chu opened the public hearing at 12:47 a.m.

 

Arthur Schwartz, member of the public, expressed concern about the delay to the use of the Redwood plaza.

 

In response to Agency Member Howe, Agency Secretary Paternoster summarized the amendments to the DDOPA under Section 10.06 relative to the existing language in the adopted DDOPA.

 

There being no additional public comments, the public hearing closed at 12:51 a.m.

 

Agency member Howe moved, Vice Chair Swegles seconded to approve Alternative 1, adopt the resolution (Attachment F) amending the DDOPA between the Redevelopment Agency and Fourth Quarter Propeties XLVIII, LLC, pertaining to City use of the Redwood Plaza by the City. Motion passed unanimously.
