The City Council met in study session at City Hall in the West Conference Room, 456 West Olive Avenue, Sunnyvale, California on June 14, 2005 at 6:00 p.m., with Vice Mayor Ron Swegles presiding.

Study Session Summary:

 

Update of Open Space and Recreation Sub-Elements

Staff reviewed the Sub-Element process, noted changes in the format of this sub-element from past documents and stated plans to distribute the draft document for public comments following the Study Session. Staff then reviewed the proposed sections of the Open Space and Recreation Sub-Element including mission statements, community conditions and demographic trends, proposed policies, and key initiatives; and described the next steps in the review process. Council and Commission members’ questions were addressed by staff.
