Intergovernmental Relations (IGR) Update

The City Council met in study session at City Hall in the
West Conference Room, 456 West Olive Avenue, Sunnyvale, California on October 4, 2005 at 6:00 p.m., with Mayor Dean Chu presiding.

Bill and Issue Tracking
Staff distributed a listing of current bills and issues on which the City has taken a position.
Update on Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC)
Staff presented Council with an update on the BRAC process including the potential closure of Onizuka Air Force Base.
League of California Cities (LCC) Conference Itinerary
Staff distributed the League of California Cities annual conference itinerary to the Councilmembers attending the conference.
IGR Committee Assignment Reports
Councilmembers discussed highlights from their IGR committee assignments.
