SUNNYVALE Onizuka LOCAL REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
 EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE  

The Onizuka Local Redevelopment Authority (LRA) Executive Committee met for a Special Meeting on August 29, 2006, at City Hall - Council Chambers, 456 West Olive Avenue, at 8:00 p.m., with Local Redevelopment Authority (LRA) Chair, Ron Swegles, presiding.

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENTS None

CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS           EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE VICE-CHAIR Howe motioned to approve Draft Minutes from the June 15, 2006, Meeting.  EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBER Moylan seconded the motion.  By unanimous vote, the MOTION CARRIED

PUBLIC HEARING/GENERAL BUSINESS

·         Staff members Andrea Georgelos and Annabel Yurutucu presented to the LRA Executive Committee the Report to the Onizuka LRA Executive Committee:  Determining Information Required by Homeless Services Providers Submitting Notices of Interest in the Onizuka Air Force Station Site, and each of the attachments to the Report. 

o        Staff recommended the approval of Attachment B to the Report, Instructions for Completing Notice of Interest.

o        Staff also presented the Citizen’s Advisory Committee Members’ recommendation to approve Attachment B to the Report, but to include in Attachment B a page limitation for submissions by applicants.

o        Onizuka LRA Executive Committee members discussed the Report and Attachment B, and made inquiries of Staff.

o        EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE VICE-CHAIR Howe motioned to approve Attachment B to the Report, Instructions for Completing Notice of Interest, with the direction to edit page one of Attachment B to include the complete address for the City of Sunnyvale.  EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBER Moylan seconded the motion.  By unanimous vote, the MOTION CARRIED
