The City Council met in study session at City Hall in the West Conference Room at 456 West Olive Avenue, Sunnyvale, California on November 28, 2006 at 5 PM, with Mayor Otto Lee presiding.

• Bill and Issue Tracking

Staff reported on the final status of bills and issues which were being tracked in this fiscal year.

·         NLC Conference Itinerary

Staff distributed 2006 NLC conference itineraries to Councilmembers.

• NLC Resolutions Status

Staff informed Council on the status of the NLC resolutions.

• BRAC/Onizuka AFS Update
• Staff provided an update on BRAC activities that were completed since the prior BRAC update on August 22, 2006, and summarized upcoming activities.

• IGR Committee Assignment Reports

Councilmembers reported on their IGR Assignments

·         Councilmember Howe asked staff to research the Caltrain Board of Directors and include the status in an upcoming City Manager Weekly Report.

·         Councilmember Moylan suggested exploring  a different role for Council with the Sustainable Silicon Valley Initiative assignment.  Assistant City Manager Robert Walker will set up a meeting to discuss.
