The City Council met in study session at City Hall in the West Conference Room at 456 West Olive Avenue, Sunnyvale, California on March 6, 2007 at 6:00 PM, with Mayor Otto Lee presiding.

• Bill and Issue Tracking
  
  Staff reported on the final status of bills and issues which are being tracked in this fiscal year.

·    NLC Conference Itinerary

Staff distributed 2006 NLC Congressional City conference itineraries to Councilmembers.

• BRAC/Onizuka AFS Update

• Staff provided an update on BRAC activities completed since the prior BRAC update on January 30, 2007 and summarized upcoming activities.

• Councilmember Howe asked staff to set up an advocacy meeting with Congresswoman Eshoo in-district. The City Manager confirmed that staff will schedule a meeting with the representative for a date that a majority of Council can attend
  
• IGR Committee Assignment Reports
  
  
• Councilmembers reported on their IGR Assignments. 
• Councilmember Chu announced that at his first meeting of the Water Commission he was appointed Vice Chair. The Councilmember also announced that he has resigned from the Dumbarton Rail Corridor Policy committee.
