The City Council met in study session at City Hall in the West Conference Room, 456 West Olive Avenue, Sunnyvale, California on March 20, 2007, with Vice Mayor Anthony Spitaleri, presiding.

Call to Order: 5:10 p.m.
Study Session Summary:
Robert Walker, Assistant City Manager, provided background information related to the Board and Commission Program; discussed proposed clarifications to existing Council Policies and the incorporation of those policies into one comprehensive Council Policy; and identified two proposed new board and commission-related Council Study Issues for 2008.
Discussion focused primarily on policy “clarifications” which do not require Council action for implementation. Based on the discussion, staff will prepare a Report to Council for Council consideration and the report will address the material covered during the study session.
