Authorization to Modify an Existing Contract for Wastewater Treatment Chemicals and Approval of Budget Modification No. 50 (F0602-73)

 

 

Staff Recommendation:

·          Council authorizes the one-year extension of an existing contract with Monolyte Laboratories, Inc., for wastewater treatment chemicals in substantially the same form as the attached draft Third Amendment to Service Agreement and in an additional amount not to exceed $2.6 million through the end of the one-year extension; and

·         Council approves Budget Modification No. 50 in the amount of $ 482, 231 to adjust the current budget for wastewater chemicals to reflect the contract extension.

Award of Contract for Software Maintenance Services for the Integrated Financial System (F0604-99)

 

 

Staff Recommendation: Council awards a one-year contract, in substantially the same form as the attached draft and in an amount not to exceed $71,453, to Tier Technologies, Inc., to provide software maintenance services for the accounting, purchasing and cost allocation modules of the City's Integrated Financial System.

Staff Recommendation: Council ratifies appointment of Mary Smith to the remainder of the unexpired term (expires June 2008) vacated by Angela Carmack on the Child Care Advisory Board.

2006-1119 Suzanne Shea (Applicant) Application for 116 residential properties located between Fremont Avenue and Ticonderoga Drive and between Pome Avenue and Mary Avenue, to rezone properties from:

  • R-1 (Low Density Residential Zoning District) to R-1/S (Low Density Residential/Single-Story)
  • R-2 (Low Medium Density Residential Zoning District) to R-2/S (Low Medium Density Residential/Single-Story)
  • R-2/PD (Low Medium Density Residential Zoning District/Planned Development) to R-2/PD/S (Low Medium Density Residential/Planned Development / Single Story)

 

 

Staff Recommendation: Council approves the rezoning to apply the Single-Story combining District as recommended by staff with a 100-foot single-story buffer on the Trinity Church site.

2007-0153 Heritage Districts and Individual Resources - New Residential Heritage Districts (Study Issue)

 

 

Staff Recommendation: Council directs staff to:

·         Pursue heritage district designation for two neighborhoods and five individual properties; and  

·         Develop Eichler design guidelines that can be applied to all Eichler neighborhoods in the City.

Staff Recommendation: Council makes additional modifications to the Taaffe-Frances design policy, and funding source to be determined in January 2008 when other study issue funding is considered.

·       Rezone from R-3 (Medium Density Residential) to R-3/PD

§         Opening remarks by the applicant (if applicable) are limited to 10 minutes.

§         Speakers are requested to give their name (address is optional).

§         Speakers are to turn in a speaker card to the city clerk.

§         Anyone interested in addressing the Council (may only speak one time).

§         Closing remarks by the applicant (if applicable) are limited to ten minutes.

§         Time limit of three minutes per person (may be extended at discretion of mayor).  Please make comments brief and be prepared to provide new input.
