The City Council met jointly in study session with the Parks and Recreation Commission at City Hall in the West Conference Room, 456 West Olive Avenue, Sunnyvale, California on November 27, 2007 at 5:30 p.m., with Vice Mayor Anthony Spitaleri presiding.

Call to Order:          5:32 p.m.

Study Session Summary:

Director Lewis provided background on the conditions leading to initiation of the Parks and Open Space of the Future project. Nancy Kaiser, representing the consultant MIG, provided an overview of the project approach, outreach and community involvement components, expected project outcomes, and timeline for completion. Council and Commission members’ questions were addressed by staff and the consultant.
